All major environmental legislation in Sweden is assembled into an Environmental Code.

The Council keeps a register on its website of all the ordinances and regulations which are issued pursuant to the Environmental Code and of the general guidelines connected to the code. The register also includes EC ordinances and directives on environmental law as well as information on the implementation of the directives.
